Saphenous vein bypass graft in mycotic aneurysm

Abstract
|
|
|
Treatment of mycotic aneurysm consists of resection and restoration of blood flow, if a major vessel is involved.
But the infection of arterial wall is still one of main problems in the restoration of blood flow. Recently author had successfully treated a patient of mycotic aneurysm arising on right femoral
artery with the saphenous vein bypass graft from contralateral femoral artery after proximall and
digital legation of involved femoral artery.
